Help4Mums.com - My Story

Hello, I'm Jon. And my boy Josh, whose picture you just clicked on, is the reason I created Help4Mums.com.

He's our first, and like all new parents, G and I just want the best for him. And who better to ask for advice than other parents? Especially mums!

Here's the thing. When Josh was born, I wanted to find out what local mums thought about the playgroups here in South London. I googled Google. No joy. Lots of great parenting sites, but none dedicated to publishing the opinions of local mums on neighbourhood playgroups. Or on anything else for that matter. And so help4mums.com was born too.

We don't have corporate backers, don't get paid for the business listings, still have our day jobs and plan to give part of our profit to a local charity, should we ever make one! We're not trying to compete with the big parenting websites, but hope to offer instead a very local pillar of support to mums who need quick, honest reviews of the services and activities in their neighbourhood.

Right, time to pick Josh up from nursery.
